She also entwines her own experiences living as a black woman in America, and how her past has affected her views. Bad Feminist is a collection of essays written by Roxane Gay, that tackles the complexities of gender, sexuality, race, abortion, rape, and an overall critique of today’s society using humor and sarcasm.
